According to a report by The Sun, Manchester United and Tottenham have set their sights on Emre Can and are readying £30 million bids for the Juventus midfielder. The Premier League rivals, though, also are bracing themselves for competition from AC Milan for the German international.
Can joined Juventus within the summer of 2018 upon the expiration of his contract with Liverpool. The German international enjoyed a solid debut campaign at the Serie A club, missing just two games when fit and available. However, his standing within the first-team setup has been damaged since the appointment of Maurizio Sarri because the new manager.
Can has started just two games all season, falling to rock bottom of the midfield hierarchy . The kicker, though, has been his omission from Juventus’s Champions League squad, a choice which has since paved way for rumours of an impending exit from the club. His situation at the Allianz Stadium, though, has piqued the interest of Manchester United and Tottenham.
Midfield has been the running theme of the rumour mill lately for Manchester United, with the club linked with variety of midfielders across Europe. The rumours do add up , considering Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is right down to his bare bones within the middle of the park within the absence of Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba.
